Linnea Lortsher (She/Her)
Linnea grew up in Sacramento, California and then lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area until 2016 when she moved to Oregon to be closer to extended family. Linnea studied botanical illustration and scientific illustration at Filoli in Woodside, CA and became a tattoo artist in 2020 because she loves working with people and making nature inspired body art for them.
Linnea’s preferred style(s) are best described as fine line, illustrative, black and gray shading and stipple shading and her favorite subjects include any plant, animal or natural subject!
Something important that Linnea would like her clients to know about her is that she is a bereaved mother, having lost her young son to suicide in 2018. In her practice as a tattoo artist, she has found great comfort and meaning in making special memorial tattoos for others who have experienced loss and grief.
